Tube filling

Tube filling and closing systems

Soehnel specialises in filling and closing various types of tablets in tubes especially effervescent tablets where machines can reach up to 240 tubes per minutes.

This high productivity results from the system concept and the coordinated, simultaneous and flowing interaction of the various components.

Fluctuations in the product feed are absorbed and monitored in all areas (tablets, tubes, stoppers) by controlled buffer zones. This ensures a constant performance of the system is guaranteed.

The tablets, which are fed flat from the tablet press, form a supply on the tablet feed belt from which they are fed into tablet channels. In the subsequent spirals, the tablets are gently placed on their circumference without any external impact.

At end of the spiral spirals, stacks of tablets are formed which are pushed into the tubes via cam-controlled pushers.

Due to the even movement of the tablets from the press to the tubes, the tablets are gently handled. This makes it possible to process tablets with a hardness as low as 40 Ncm.

During the entire filling process, the tablets are visible and, for the most part, freely accessible.

The entire operation of the line including upstream and downstream machines are displayed on the touchscreen control screen.
